Put it on your phone

It takes about ten seconds, and then it opens like any other app — no App Store, nothing to download.

01

Open this page in Safari

It has to be Safari — Chrome on an iPhone cannot add apps to the home screen. If you are reading this somewhere else, copy the address and open it in Safari first.

02

Tap Share

03

Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"

It sits below the row of apps, among the other options. You may need to scroll a little way down the list.

04

Tap Add

The icon appears on your home screen. Open it from there from now on.

Why bother?

It opens full screen, without the browser bar, so there is more room for what matters — and it is one tap from your home screen rather than a bookmark you have to go looking for.

You stay signed in, so no code to wait for every time.

Nothing is downloaded and nothing is installed in the usual sense. It is the same website, kept somewhere easier to reach.
